Despite the challenges in 2020, God has continued to bless CCT’s ministry among the former street dwellers or kaibigans. As the new year came, CCT management joyfully presses on with its development plans for the Kaibigan Village, dubbed by the kaibigans themselves as Lupang Pangako (Promise Land) in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.

Lupang Pangako is at the heart of the CCT Group convergence. CCT programs and services include community organizing, microfinance, education, health care, livelihood skills training, agri-enterprise—all anchored on spiritual development.

Unity is also evident in this faith community as people never cease in prayer and worship.

By the first quarter of 2021, the Kaibigan Village 9 or Training Center will be opened. It will be called CCT Kasanayan, which will offer technical-vocational courses such as electrical installation, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, etc., to the former street dwellers and nearby community.

CCT also started identifying economic zones in Lupang Pangako. Agribusiness were classified into three groups for meat and poultry production, vegetable planting, and rice trading, respectively. These endeavors are targeted to be open for investments.

Aside from the Chapel Park, Lupang Pangako will also have a forest park and children’s park.

Indeed, what a testimony of God’s goodness in CCT Lupang Pangako as a thriving and productive faith community!
