Advancing Biblical Values of CCT Group in Choosing the Right Leaders

Unfailingly, CCT staff and community partners gathered together for the CCT Nationwide Prayer and Worship, hosted online by CCT Region 8. Volunteer pastors from Eastern Visayas led the over 121 CCT areas in interceding for the nation.

Rev. Aniceto Besas Candole, pastor of Palo Christian Church, shared the power of fervent prayer anchored in Psalm 33:12, "Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance."

Aligned with CCT's passion of seeing a nation transformed by the power of the Gospel, is the continuation of the Voter's Education Program in partnership with TamaKa: Tamang Kandidato sa Eleksyon. Pastor Caloy Magsakay Diño facilitated the online session. In his interactive discussion, he enlightened each one about the 1987 constitution and how it affirms to God's over-all plan of bringing 'Shalom' to the communities—"isang komunidad na sama-samang sumasagana, payapa, may pagkakaisa, at may malasakit sa bawat isa".

CCT's online event concluded with Maria Venus Raj, advocate representative for the Christian Values Movement (CVM). Venus shared CVM's call to "stand faithful to the command of Christ to love our neighbors as ourselves and advance Biblical values in choosing the right leaders". CVM is a values-based movement that seeks to unite God-fearing Filipinos to become a force for positive change.

Indeed, we are all encouraged to pray for the nation and believe in God's promise for His righteousness and blessings to reign over all the land.
